2019 (Senior):

• Named to 2019 Patriot League All-Tournament Team.
• Appeared in all 54 of the Crusaders’ contests, starting a team-high 53 contests at second base, third base and shortstop.
• Batted .233 with a .409 on-base percentage.
• Tallied 28 RBI, eight doubles, two triples and three home runs with a .373 slugging percentage.
• Walked a team-high 37 times, ranking third in program history.
• In league play, hit .250 with a .424 on-base percentage.
• Went 1-for-2 with three walks and three RBI at Northeastern (3/17).
• Hit 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI at Bucknell (4/14).
• Hit first career home run vs. Lafayette (4/21).
• Went 2-for-3 with two RBI in Senior Day win vs. Army West Point (4/28).
• Had a 2-for-3 day with two runs scored and two RBI at Lafayette (5/4).
• Hit 2-for-3 with a double in Patriot League semifinal contest vs. Army West Point (5/11).
• Ended season on a 10-game reached-base streak.

2018 (Junior):

• Appeared in 38 games making 32 starts in the infield. 
• Recorded a .227 batting average.
• Had 10 runs and 22 hits.
• Tallied six doubles and six RBIs.
• Notched 82 catches and 42 putouts.

2017 (Sophomore):

• Appeared in 21 games with 11 starts.
• Tallied a .184 batting average.
• Recorded 7 hits on the season.
• Went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored at Rhode Island (4/12).
• Hit 2-for-4 with a run scored at Lafayette (4/30).
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2016 (Freshman):

• Made his collegiate debut as a pinch-runner against Long Beach State (2/19).

High School:

• Played five seasons of varsity baseball under head coach Nick Rodriguez at Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Fla.
• Named to All-Conference team during senior season.
• Helped lead team to district finals and school’s first ever regional playoff appearance.
• Posted a career .323 batting average and a career .424 on-base percentage.
• Led district in stolen bases as a senior.
• Played club baseball for the Tampa Bay Warriors under head coach Brian DaBose.
• Named a Perfect Game All-Region Honorable Mention.
• Member of National Honor Society.
• Named a National Merit Scholar semi-finalist.

• Son of Steve and Amy Gionis.
• Has one brother (Aidan) and two sisters (Ashlyn and Ava).
• Father played tennis at Stetson University.
• Majoring in economics.
