AS A SENIOR IN 2021: 

• Named to Patriot League All-Academic Team.
• Earned Perry-Conlon Award as team's most outstanding pitcher.
• Made seven appearances with six starts.
• Totaled 29.0 innings of work, recording a 4.34 ERA with 29 strikeouts. 
• Held opposing batters to a .210 average.
• Matched career high in strikeouts.
• Started contest against UMass, recording four hitless innings with five strikeouts (3/24).
• Threw five shutout innings against Bucknell, striking out four (4/4).
• Struck out five batters in six innings of work against Navy (4/24). 
• Tallied a career-high seven strikeouts against Lehigh (5/8).
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 
• Spring schedule shortened due to COVID-19.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2020:

• Started four games on the mound for Holy Cross, pitching 9.1 innings.
• Went 3.0 innings against Old Dominion, giving up two earned runs and three hits with a pair of strikeouts (2/22).
• Pitched 2.2 innings against CSU Bakersfield, allowing two earned runs and four hits (3/1).
• Threw 2.2 innings at UC Riverside, giving up two earned runs and striking out three (3/7).
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
• Season concluded on March 12 due to COVID-19.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019:

• Appeared in five games with two starts, posting a 0-2 record.
• Recorded a 3.82 ERA in 11.2 innings pitched.
• Tallied eight strikeouts.
• Allowed just one earned run with three strikeouts in 4.2 innings vs. Southern Miss (3/9).
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018:

• Appeared in 14 games making seven starts.
• Ended the season with a 6.75 ERA in 30.2 innings pitched. 
• Threw scoreless inning with three strikeouts in collegiate debut, helping Crusaders upset No. 24 Houston (2/16). 
• Pitched 4.2 scoreless innings in start at Charleston Southern, recording career-high five strikeouts (3/10).
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Competed in three varsity seasons at Marblehead under head coach Jason Tarasuik.
• Served as team captain his junior and senior years.
• Earned team’s defensive MVP honor in 2014 and pitcher of the year honor twice (2015-2016).
• A two-time Northeast Conference All-Star.
• Named Lynn Item All-Area twice.
• Team won conference title in 2016 and made state tournament twice (2015-2016).
• Finalist for the Salem News Area Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.
• Also a three-year varsity athlete in football where he earned all-conference honors and earned Northeastern Conference Offensive MVP recognition in 2015.
• Competed in one season of post-graduate baseball at the Loomis Chaffee School, where he earned First Team All-Founders’ League and Connecticut Prep All-Star honors.
• Earned high honors all five years, member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL:

• Son of James and Karen Keough.
• James played football at Pennsylvania, while Karen competed in gymnastics at Pennsylvania.
• Has one brother (Shane) and one sister (Brooke).
• Majoring in economics and political science.
