• Previously graduated from Charlotte Catholic High School in Charlotte, N.C., where he led the team to a 22-7 record during his senior year
• Averaged 20.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.7 assists as a senior, while connecting on 72 of 147 shots from three-point range (49.0 percent)
• Named to the NCPreps.com Class 3A All-State team
• Earned second team All-District honors in Mecklenburg County
• Played AAU ball for the New England Playaz basketball club
