AS A JUNIOR IN 2014-2015:
• Played in all 37 games
• Scored three goals and recorded nine assists for 12 points
• His 59 shot-blocks ranked him first on the team
• Member of a defensive core that allowed the least amount of goals in the Division I history of the program, with 2.35 goals allowed per game     
• Recorded three assists (12/5) vs. Niagara, which tied for 10th all-time in Division I history of the program
• Named AHC  Defensive Player of the Week (12/2)  and (3/3)
• Received  the team's Michael P. Quinn Defensive Player of the Year Award
• Member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy
• Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

 AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2013-2014:
• Played in 36 games, making 35 starts
• Posted 10 assists for 10 points
• A member of the first-line of a PK unit that ranked fourth in the conference
• Was a part of a defensive core that finished the season second in the nation in blocked shots
• His 1.86 blocked shots per game tied for 47th in the country
• Posted one multiple-point game during the season, against Sacred Heart (2/8)
• Led the team with 67 blocked shots, tied for 33rd in the country
• Won the Glenn “Spike” Crane Memorial Award as the HC player who excels most in the little things and leads his teammates by example
• Earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic honors

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012-2013:
• Played in 24 games, starting in eight
• Scored one goal and tallied 12 assists for 13 points
• Finished tied for fourth on the team in plus/minus with +4
• Scored his first collegiate goal to win an  AHA quarterfinal game against Mercyhurst (3/16)
• Recorded his first collegiate point with an assist in a 7-3 victory over RIT (11/17)
• Had two assists for his first multiple point game against Canisius (2/3)
• Scored a goal and posted an assist against Mercyhurst (3/16)
• Had a point in 11 games
• Earned Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team honors

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
• Played varsity hockey at the Belmont Hill School for coach Jeremiah McCarthy
• Four-year member of the team and captain as a senior
• Earned 2010, 2011 and 2012 All-League honors
• Won the 2012 Belmont Hill School Sportsmanship Award
• Member of the Boston Junior Eagles (New England Fall Prep Hockey League) for coach Dan Ronan
• Boston Junior Eagles won the 2010 and 2011 New England Fall Prep Hockey League championship
• Also played two years of varsity tennis at the Belmont Hill School
• Won the 2012 Belmont Hill School Community Service Award

PERSONAL:
• Son of John and Katie McNamara
• Father played hockey at Boston College (Class of 1986)
• Mother was a member of the tennis team at Boston College (Class of 1987), and was inducted into the Boston College Hall of Fame
• Has three brothers (Kevin, Jack and Mike)
• Brothers, Kevin (Class of 2012) and Jack (Class of 2014), both played hockey at Colgate
• Brother, Mike, played hockey at Holy Cross (Class of 2015)
• Majoring in Economics
