Holy Cross Athletics

2017-2018:

• Played in 9 games 
• Made 139 saves on 144 shots for a .965 save percentage with a 0.65 goals against average
• Ended the season with a 6-1-0 record
• Had three shutouts

2016-2017:

• Played in 8 games with 8 starts
• Made 127 saves on 137 shots for a .927 save percentage with a 1.34 goals against average
• Notched a 7-1-0 overall mark
• Recorded three shutouts

Before Holy Cross:

• A three-year member of the varsity ice hockey team at St. Mark’s School under head coach Casey Pickett, and a two-year member of the varsity ice hockey team at Oromocto High
• Named All-Independent School League Honorable Mention in 2016
• In goal, held a 1.63 goals against average and notched 18 shutouts for a 32-29-7 overall record
• Held a 1.37 goals against average with eight shutouts for a 15-7-2 record her senior year
• Named Rookie of the year at Oromocto (2012)
• Named team MVP at St. Mark’s (2015 and 2016)
• Played in the Winter Games and  for three years at the Atlantic Challenge Cup for Team New Brunswick
• Played club hockey for the East Coast Wizards under head coach Hayley Moore
• Also played two years of varsity field hockey at St. Mark’s and two years of varsity field hockey at Oromocto High
• St. Mark’s team was New England Champions in 2014
• Earned Most Improved Player award (2014) and named to the Field Hockey Coaches Association National Squad
• Additionally played one year of varsity softball, earning the team’s Most Improved Player award in 2016

• Daughter of Gilles and Denise LaPlante
• Has two brothers (Julien and Joel)
• Has one sister (Nathalie) who currently plays field hockey and ice hockey at the University of New Brunswick
