AS A JUNIOR IN 2010:
• Played in four games at quarterback.
• Completed 16 of 25 passes on the season for 147 yards andtwo touchdowns.
• Connected on four of five attempts for 33 yards and twotouchdowns during the victory at Colgate.
• Hit on six of 12 pass attempts for 57 yards againstLehigh.
• Completed all four of his passes for 43 yards in the winover Bucknell.
• Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009:
• Did not appear in any games.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008:
• Did not see any varsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for coach Mike Donatucci at Fremd High School inPalatine, Ill.
• Named the 2007 Player of the Year in the Mid-SuburbanLeague.
• Earned Class 8A All-State honors from the Illinois HighSchool Football Coaches Association.
• Rated as the No. 34 quarterback in the nation by ESPN /Scouts, Inc.
• Completed 178 of 273 passes for 2,123 yards and 19touchdowns as a senior.
• Hit on 265 of 433 attempts for 3,294 yards and 31 scoresduring his high school career.
• Set 12 school records.
• Team posted a 39-4 mark during his four years, winning fourstraight conference championships.
• Received Academic All-State honors.
• Also a member of the basketball, baseball and track teamsat Fremd.
• Member of National Honor Society.

PERSONAL:
• Son of Virginia and Michael Tolzien, Sr.
• Brother, Michael, was a member of the football and boxingteams at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
• Brother, Scott, played quarterback at Wisconsin from2006-2010.
• Majoring in Sociology.
