Senior linebacker Adam Due of the Holy Cross football team earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league on Monday, Sept. 21. 

Due had a superb showing vs. #19 Yale on Saturday, Sept. 19, totaling a career-high 17 tackles, a 10-yard sack and three quarterback hurries. 

His 17 tackles are a Patriot League single-game high this season, and the fourth-highest single-game mark in the FCS so far this year. Due's efforts helped hold the nationally ranked Bulldogs to just seven first-half points. 

Due leads all Patriot League student-athletes with 44 tackles on the season, which ranks fourth nationally among all FCS players. 

The Crusaders return to the gridiron on Saturday, Sept. 26 with a Patriot League matchup against Lafayette. Kickoff in Easton, Pa. is set for 12:30 p.m.
