WORCESTER, Mass. - Junior goaltender
Connor MacKenzie and freshman goaltender
Danick Leroux of the Holy Cross men's ice hockey team have been named AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholars, as announced by the AHCA.
Leroux, an economics major, started 22 games this season, finishing with a 12-9-1 record. Leroux led the Crusaders with a 2.58 goals-against average, .908 save percentage, and 552 saves.
MacKenzie, a history major, appeared in 12 games this season, making ten saves in his first season on The Hill. MacKenzie finished the season with a 5-4-1 record, 3.12 goals-against average, .891 save percentage, and 261 saves.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade-point average during the fall and spring semester and participated in at least 40 percent of their team's games. A total of 404 Division I men and 319 women were recognized by the AHCA.
