Men’s tennis downed by SNHU at home

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross men's tennis team battled to a close 4-3 loss to non-conference opponent Southern New Hampshire Wednesday afternoon at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility.

The loss sends the Crusaders to 5-11 while the Penmen improve to 7-8.

DOUBLES ACTION:
  • Holy Cross earned the doubles point taking two of three doubles matches.
  • Juniors Matt Carlson and Teddy Callery had a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
SINGLES PLAY:
  • SNHU was victorious in four of the six singles matches to cap off the come from behind win.
  • Callery tallied his second win of the showdown, a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
