HAMILTON, N.Y. – Senior
Alex Elia and freshman
Ryan Mosher finished in a tie for 14th place as individuals, as the Holy Cross men's golf squad placed third as a team in the Alex Lagowitz Memorial at the Seven Oaks Golf Club.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Elia (73-71-71) and Mosher (73-72-70) both finished the tournament at one-under par (215).
• Sophomore
John Scully came in 27th, posting scores of 73-75-71 (219).
• Senior
Ryan Scollins (73-76-72) and sophomore
Leo Chu (78-71-73) tied for 44th place (222).
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders was sophomore
Rohan Shastry with scores of 77-72-75 (52nd / 224)
• Charlie Barrickman of Bucknell claimed first place as an individual at seven-under par (209).
TEAM SCORES:
• Seton Hall won the team title with a three-round total of 853 strokes (11-under par).
• Holy Cross finished with a total of 866 strokes.
• Against Patriot League opponents, the Crusaders tied with Colgate (866) and were two strokes ahead of Bucknell (868).
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross returns to action when it takes part in the Goat Invitational at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md., from Sept. 19-20.
