WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross field hockey freshman
Marianna MacLean was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season, as voted on by the Patriot League coaches and announced by the league offices Monday afternoon.
MacLean posted four points on a goal and two assists in two games this week.
On Wednesday night against New Haven, MacLean assisted on the Crusaders' second and fourth goals, en route to an 8-0 win, the largest win for Holy Cross since 2006. On Sunday morning at Albany, MacLean scored the Crusaders' lone goal of the game, receiving a throw from senior
