Gracie Reisman have all been named nominees for the Fall Allstate Good Works Team, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. These four Crusaders are among 128 student-athletes from fall sports teams around the nation who have been nominated for the squad, based on excellence in academics, athletics and the community.
Beban started all 18 of Holy Cross' games last year, leading the team with 1,549 minutes played and ranking fourth on the squad in scoring with five points on one goal and three assists. A third team All-Patriot League selection on defense, he has totaled 3,355 career minutes of action in 46 games played. Beban represented Holy Cross at the 2025 Uplifting Athletes Leadership Development Conference, and has been a volunteer with Life for Life, Team Impact, the Office of Sustainability Community Clean-Up and the Civic Engagement Day Campus Clean-Up. In addition, he has earned Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, while being named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll three times.
Clark has played in two career games for the Crusaders, making two saves in 30 minutes of action without allowing any goals. She has been on the Working for Worcester board for three years, including two years as the director of marketing, in addition to serving as the social media director for the Holy Cross Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Clark was also named to the 2023 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
Lyons ran in all eight of Holy Cross' races during the 2024 season, finishing with the top time on the team twice and placing 14th at the New England Championship. He also earned All-Patriot League honors in indoor track, while qualifying for the NCAA First Round in outdoor track. The director of community engagement for the Holy Cross Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Lyons is also a member of HC for a Cure. In addition, he has been selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll twice in cross country and three times in track, while earning Academic All-Patriot League honors in track.
Reisman tallied 111 kills, a team-high 3.26 kills per set, a team-best .341 hitting percentage, 24 digs and 14 total blocks during the 2024 season. Over the course of her collegiate career, she has now totaled 235 kills, 72 digs and 62 total blocks, with a .209 hitting percentage. Reisman is the co-chair of the Holy Cross Environmental Studies Student Advisory Committee and the Team Impact fellow on campus, in addition to volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Office of Sustainability and Working for Worcester. She is also a three-time selection to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society.
The 20-member Good Works Team for fall sports will be announced on August 26, including 10 female and 10 male student-athletes.
