LEWISBURG, Pa. – Holy Cross junior men's swimmer
Jack Greiner broke a program record as the swimming and diving team participated in day two of the Patriot League Championship hosted by Bucknell at the Kinney Natatorium.
The men moved to ninth place and have 147 total points trialing Lafayette (149) by two. Navy leaped to first place from third with 589.5 points. Army slid to second at 580.5 while Loyola (Md.) slid to third with 407 points.
For the second straight day, Greiner led off a relay event, the 400-yard medley relay. He swam the 100-yard backstroke and had a program-best time of 50.33. Junior

Alex Michael and freshman
Peter Mottolese followed their teammate and tallied a 3:19.80 finals time.
Michael qualified for the "C" finals in the 200-yard individual medley and hit the wall at 1:52.49, a personal-best time. Junior

Colin McGee, sophomore
Jake Thompson and Mottolese also posted personal bests in their events.
On the one-meter diving board, sophomore
Luke Parada competed in the "B" final and finished 11th recording a 277.25 score. Freshman
Griffin Casey had a 235.10 score.
Holy Cross hits the pool on Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. for the third day of competition.
