WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross freshman forward Naemi Herzig has been selected to compete for the Swiss National Team in the third tournament of the Women's Euro Hockey Tour. Herzig was one of 24 players named to Switzerland's roster for the event, which will take place from Dec. 10-12 in Lahti and Hämeenlinna, Finland, featuring Switzerland, Sweden, Czechia and Finland.

Herzig has made 13 career appearances for the Swiss National Team over the last three years. Last month at the Lidl Hockey Games, she scored a goal against Finland on Nov. 5. Herzig previously played in 16 games for the Swiss Under-18 National Team, totaling two goals and four assists.

Currently in her first season with the Crusaders, Herzig has played in 19 games for Holy Cross, helping the team to a 14-6-1 record. She ranks second on the team in scoring with 16 points on six goals and 10 assists.
