HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Holy Cross took a 4-2 lead early in the first set. Down a pair, Lehigh used a 6-1 scoring stretch for the 12-9 edge. A junior outside hitter Taliah Lee kill and Mountain Hawk attack miscue leveled the score at 14 all. Four straight from the hosts pushed the score to 18-14. They eventually captured the set 25-19.
- Trailing 6-2, Holy Cross took their first lead, 8-7 during a 6-1 outburst as senior setter Katie Russell set up Lee for a kill while sophomore middle blocker Lacey Murphy and senior right side Gracie Reisman blocked an attack attempt. From that point, the Mountain Hawks jumped back in the lead at 12-9. Another stuff at the net from Reisman and freshman middle blocker Isa Glover with a Reisman kill made it a one point, 15-14 Lehigh edge. Lehigh notched five straight to take a six point 20-14 lead before taking a 2-0 match lead.
- Reisman and freshman middle blocker Kyla Harris teamed up for a block to make it 3-1 in the early stages of the third set. Holding a one point advantage, three in a row from Lehigh upped the edge to 10-6. A stretch of nine consecutive markers for the Mountain Hawks gave them a commanding lead 21-9.
