The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team will be back in action with a home-and-home series against Merrimack on Nov. 7 and 8. Friday's game will take place in North Andover at 6 p.m., while Saturday's meeting will be played in Worcester at 7 p.m. Both games will be shown on ESPN+.
Holy Cross owns an overall record of 7-4-0 and an 0-3-0 mark in Hockey East play. Last weekend, the Crusaders dropped a pair of games to No. 8 Connecticut, falling 4-3 in overtime on Saturday and 3-2 on Sunday. Freshman forward
Violet Carroll currently leads the team in scoring with 13 points on five goals and eight assists. Freshman forward
Naemi Herzig has added four goals and five assists for nine points, while senior forward
Alexia Moreau (four goals, three assists), senior forward
Charlotte Sonntag (three goals, four assists) and senior forward
Lane Lewis (one goal, six assists) all have seven points. Senior goaltender

Brooke Loranger have split time in net, combing for an 1.63 goals against average and a .924 save percentage.
Merrimack stands 2-7-1 overall and 0-3-0 in Hockey East. The Warriors have lost four straight, including a pair of setbacks against New Hampshire (8-2 and 5-2) last weekend. Junior forward Emma Pfeffer leads the team in scoring with four goals and four assists for eight points, while senior forward Avery Anderson has added seven points on two goals and five assists. In net, sophomore goaltender Adreanna Doucette stands 1-6-1 with a 3.40 goals against average and a .908 save percentage.
After the series with Merrimack, Holy Cross will play a pair of home games against Maine on Nov. 14 and 15.
