Eight members of the Holy Cross football team earned 2025 All-Patriot League honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
In total, Holy Cross had four first-team selections and four second-team honorees.
Junior linebacker
Cam Santee was named to the first team for the first time in his career after finishing the 2025 season with 110 total tackles (46 solo), 14 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, five pass breakups, two quarterback hurries and five forced fumbles. He ranked atop the Patriot League in TFLs and forced fumbles, and third in total tackles; nationally, he ranked tied for second in forced fumbles and in the top 25 in both total tackles and TFLs. He was a two-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week selection, and recorded double-digit tackles on five occasions.
Junior cornerback
Cam Jones earned a first team nod, his second straight year with All-Patriot League accolades after earning second team honors a year ago. He started 10 games at cornerback, leading the team with eight pass breakups and also recording 59 tackles. The team captain also recorded a 23-yard pick-six in Holy Cross' season finale vs. Georgetown at Fenway Park.
Senior right guard
Cam Nolan earned first team honors, his second year in a row as an All-Patriot League selection after he was a second team honoree in 2024. A team captain for the Crusaders, Nolan started every game at right guard this season. He was also a semifinalist for the 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy.
Senior punt returner
Max Mosey becomes a two-time All-Patriot League first team selection; he was named to the list this year as a return specialist after being selected as a wide receiver last year. Mosey was one of the nation's most electric punt returners in 2025; he returned a punt for a touchdown in back-to-back weekends this season, after scoring on a 47-yard return on Oct. 25 vs. Colgate and a 59-yard return on Nov. 1 vs. Lafayette. In total, he averaged 20.1 yards per return; he was a two-time Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week this year. Mosey also led the team with 490 receiving yards, and had two rushing touchdowns.
Junior running back
Jayden Clerveaux earned a spot on the second team in 2025, becoming a two-time All-Patriot League honoree. He rushed for 762 yards and scored five touchdowns this season on 161 total carries. In a win over Bucknell on Nov. 15, he rushed for a season-high 142 yards and a score. One of Holy Cross' captains this season, Clerveaux has totaled 1,735 career yards with 16 touchdowns as a Crusader.
Junior cornerback
Eli Thompson becomes an All-Patriot League honoree for the first time, earning second team accolades in 2025. Thompson was the only player in the Patriot League with multiple pick-sixes this year, with two on the season; he had a 94-yard interception return for a score in the Crusaders' win over Georgetown. Thompson totaled four interceptions on the year, with a multi-interception game against the Hoyas. His four picks tied for second in the conference this year. This year, Thompson also totaled 47 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, six pass breakups, a quarterback hurry and a forced fumble.
Senior long snapper
John Owens was named to the second team for his first All-Patriot League honors. Converting from tight end to long snapper in the offseason, Owens handled all long snapping duties for the Crusaders in all 12 games in 2025. He was part of a kicking and punting operation that earned Special Teams Player of the Week accolades from the conference twice this season.
The Crusaders swept the return specialist All-Patriot League slots, with sophomore kick returner
Alijah Cason earning second team laurels. Cason ranked atop the Patriot League and 13th nationally with an average of 27.2 yards per kickoff return. He won Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week honors in Week 1 after totaling 187 yards on three kickoff returns and scoring a touchdown — the first of his career — on a 97-yard return against Northern Illinois. That 97-yard kickoff return is tied for the second-longest in program history and was the longest since 1979. He also totaled 244 yards on 22 receptions with a pair of touchdowns on the year.
