WORCESTER, Mass. – Three individuals and one relay team posted top five finishes, as the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team completed competition at the Harold Anderson Invitational at the Tootell Aquatic Center. The Crusaders finished the weekend in fourth place out of nine teams with a total of 446 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Junior
Devin Brindle recorded a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.88.
• Junior
Kat Anticev came in fifth in the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:23.04), while sophomore
Ellie Reinhart placed fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.32).
• The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Brindle, freshman
Clara McCarthy, senior
Ainsley Nalen and senior
Nora Smillie claimed fifth place in a time of 3:30.79.
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will be off until Jan. 17, when it travels to Colgate.
