WORCESTER, Mass. – Several individuals posted top-10 finishes, as the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team competed in day two of the Harold Anderson Invitational at the Tootell Aquatic Center. Through seven events, the Crusaders stand in fourth place as a team with 179 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Sophomore
Brenna Short led the team with a second-place finish in the three-meter diving (302.40), while sophomore
Addie Jenk came in eighth (229.15).
• Junior
Devin Brindle finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.73.
• Junior
Kat Anticev recorded a seventh-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:05.97).
• Crusaders recording personal best times included sophomore
Nora Herbstzuber (200-yard individual medley / 2:08.22), sophomore
Natalie Neno (200-yard individual medley / 2:13.14) and sophomore
Ellie Reinhart (200-yard individual medley / 2:09.53).
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will continue competition in the Harold Anderson Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 22.
• Saturday's event include the 100-yard butterfly, the 400-yard individual medley, the 200-yard freestyle, the 100-yard breaststroke, the 100-yard backstroke, the one-meter diving and the 400-yard medley relay.
