WORCESTER, Mass. – The 200-yard medley relay and 800-yard freestyle relay teams both finished in fifth place, as the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team competed in day one of the Harold Anderson Invitational at the Tootell Aquatic Center. Through two events, the Crusaders stand in fourth place as a team with 80 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The 200-yard medley relay team of sophomore
Ellie Reinhart, sophomore
Nora Herbstzuber, junior
Devin Brindle and senior
Nora Smillie took fifth place with a time of 1:45.64.
• In the 800-yard freestyle relay, the team of Brindle, junior
Kat Anticev, sophomore
Samantha Schwarting and senior
Ainsley Nalen came in fifth in a time of 7:36.41.
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will continue competition in the Harold Anderson Invitational on Friday, Nov. 21.
• Friday's event include the 500-yard freestyle, the 200-yard individual medley, the 50-yard freestyle, the one-meter diving and the 200-yard freestyle relay.
