The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team will be back in action with a home-and-home series against Post on Oct. 24 and 26. Friday's game will take place in Worcester at 7 p.m. on ESPN+, while Sunday's meeting will be played in Shelton at 1:30 p.m. on the CACC Network.
Holy Cross is off to a 5-2-0 start on the season. The Crusaders defeated both Dartmouth and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute twice, while splitting a series with Delaware and falling to Boston College. Holy Cross' five victories so far this year are the most in program history prior to the start of November. Senior forward
Alexia Moreau (three goals, three assists) and freshman forward
Violet Carroll (two goals, four assists) are tied for the team lead with six points each, while junior forward
Reghan Chadwick (two goals, three assists) and freshman forward
Naemi Herzig (one goal, four assists) both have five points. Senior goaltender

Brooke Loranger have split time in net, combing for an 1.57 goals against average and a .913 save percentage.
Post stands 1-6-1 so far this year, with a 1-2-1 mark in the New England Women's Hockey Alliance. In their last game, the Eagles defeated Franklin Pierce 3-2 on Oct. 17 for their first victory of the season. Senior forward Maddy Noonan (one goal, one assist), freshman forward Georgia Stevens (one goal, one assist) and sophomore defender Caryss Kehl (two assists) all have two points on the year. In net, senior goaltender Hannah Saunders stands 1-4-1 with a 2.46 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.
After the series with Post, Holy Cross will play a home-and-home series with Connecticut on Nov. 1 and 2.
