STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Sophomore forward
Oscar Quinn Pasin scored his first collegiate goal, as the Holy Cross men's soccer team tied Stony Brook 1-1 at LaValle Stadium. The Crusaders now stand 3-6-5 on the season, while the Seawolves move to 4-4-5 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The game was scoreless until the 56th minute, when Quinn Pasin gave Holy Cross a 1-0 lead.
• Junior midfielder
Kevin Cull played the ball into the left side of the box, where junior midfielder
Gavin Penzone crossed it in front of the goal.
• Quinn Pasin then knocked the ball home with a sliding kick from six yards out.
• Stony Brook tied up the game in the 73rd minute on a penalty kick by Caleb Danquah, after the Crusaders were called for a foul in the box.
• Neither team was able to score again, as the game ended in a draw.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• The Seawolves finished the game with a 20-11 advantage in shots and a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
• Sophomore goalkeeper
Alastair Hafner Schnee made a career-high eight saves on the night.
• Cull now ranks second on the Patriot League with five assists on the season.

• Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 18, when it travels to Army West Point for a 6 p.m. game.
