WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross Department of Athletics will celebrate 50 years of women's basketball on Alumnae Day during Winter Homecoming, Saturday, Feb. 8 against Patriot League opponent Boston University beginning at 3 p.m.

Holy Cross is set to commemorate 50 years of varsity women's basketball at Holy Cross and the club teams that came before. The Crusaders will celebrate the past, present, and future and honor club team members, inaugural team members, and four championship anniversary team members with in-game recognitions.

• 40th anniversary of the 1984-1985 MAAC Tournament Champions 
• 30th anniversary of the 1994-1995 Patriot League Tournament Champions
• 25th anniversary of the 1999-2000 Patriot League Tournament Champions
• 20th anniversary of the 2004-2005 Patriot League Tournament Champions 

Alumnae of the program can register by Feb. 3 to claim two free tickets to the contest, a rematch of the 2024 Patriot League Tournament Championship Game. A 50th Anniversary Celebration Reception will follow postgame in the Alden Trust Performance Studio at Prior Performing Arts Center for our women's basketball alumnae, parents, donors and friends of the program.
