The Holy Cross men's basketball team will play its second straight road game when it travels to Bucknell for a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday, Jan. 15. The game between the Crusaders and the Bison will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.
Holy Cross owns an overall record of 10-7 this year, with a 2-2 mark in the Patriot League. The Crusaders have won five of their last seven games, but are coming off an 82-65 setback at Lafayette on Saturday. Freshman guard
Max Green leads the team by averaging 13.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, while hitting 72.3 percent of his free throws. Sophomore forward
Joe Nugent has added 13.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest, while senior forward
Caleb Kenney is chipping in with 11.4 points, 4.4 boards and 1.0 blocks per game.
Bucknell stands 6-11 overall this season, including a 2-2 record in the Patriot League. The Bison are coming off a 68-58 loss at American on Saturday. Junior center Noah Williamson has led the team by averaging 14.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, while hitting 46.3 percent of his field goal attempts. Senior guard Josh Bascoe has put up 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest, with junior forward Ruot Bijiek adding 8.5 points and 3.7 boards per game.
After the contest with Bucknell, Holy Cross will return home to face American at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18.
