WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross senior
Matt Major was named to the 2024 Academic All-Patriot League men's lacrosse team, the conference office announced on Thursday. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key reserve.
Major started all 13 games for the Crusaders this season, posting a team and career-high 25 points on 22 goals and three assists, while picking up 12 ground balls and causing a turnover. He netted at least one goal in all but two games this season and posted a personal single-game best five goals against Colgate.
Major finishes his Holy Cross career with 50 points on 42 goals and assists in 41 games and carries a 3.91 cumulative grade point average as a double major in economics and math.
