WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross women's basketball assistant coach
Paige Corkins was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Thirty Under 30 list, which was announced by the organization on Thursday. Corkins becomes the first Crusader assistant to earn this honor.
"It is an absolute honor to be recognized by the WBCA as one of the up and coming coaches in the business," Corkins said. "I am thankful for everyone that has given me the opportunity to pour back knowledge into these young women."
The WBCA Thirty Under 30 program was created to recognize 30 up-and-coming women's basketball coaches aged 30 and under at all levels of the game. Each honoree has exemplified their involvement in community service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner, and attitude and professional association involvement.
"Paige is a bright, hardworking rising star in this business," said head coach
Maureen Magarity. "She is passionate about what she does and we are lucky to have her at Holy Cross."
During her first season on The Hill, Corkins worked with the forwards and help guide the Crusaders to the second NCAA Tournament win in Patriot League history, the 2024 Patriot League Tournament Championship, and the 2023-24 Patriot League Regular Season Championship.

Before Fordham, Corkins was an assistant coach at her alma mater, Concordia for three years specifically working with the post players while assisting with academic support, coordinating team activities and scouting. During her tenure at Concordia, the program reached the NCAA Division II Regionals. A four year letter winner for the Clippers, the one-time team captain finished her career ranked 15th in program history in offensive rebounds and was top-20 in both rebounds and defensive rebounds.
Corkins graduated from Concordia with a bachelor of science in psychology in 2017 and earned her master's of science in public media from Fordham in 2023.Â
