The Holy Cross men's basketball team will play its final regular season game of the year when it travels to Boston University for a 12 p.m. contest on Saturday, March 2. The game between the Crusaders and the Terriers will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

Holy Cross stands 9-21 overall this year with a 6-11 mark in Patriot League play. The Crusaders are currently in a tie for eighth place in the conference, and will still be seeded either eighth or ninth in the Patriot League Tournament. Holy Cross would earn the No. 8 seed and a home game in the first round with a win over Boston University and a Loyola (Md.) victory over Army.

Senior guard Joe Octave leads the team by averaging 13.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Junior forward Caleb Kenney has posted 11.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game, while senior guard Bo Montgomery has added 10.6 points, 4.7 boards and 2.9 assists per contest.

Boston University has an overall mark of 14-16 on the season, including a 9-8 record in the Patriot League. The Terriers have won four straight games, including a 64-62 overtime victory at Lehigh on Wednesday. Senior guard Miles Brewster leads the team with averages of 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Freshman guard Kyrone Alexander is also enjoying a solid year, averaging 8.9 points and 4.1 boards per contest.

After the contest with Boston University, Holy Cross will open play in the Patriot League Tournament on March 5.
