The Holy Cross men's basketball team returns home this Saturday, Feb. 17, to face Army West Point at 2 p.m. on Senior Day. The contest between the Crusaders and the Black Knights will be shown live by NBC Sports Boston and the Patriot League on ESPN+.
Holy Cross stands 8-18 overall this year with a 5-8 mark in Patriot League play. The Crusaders have won three of their last five games, including a 58-56 victory over American last Saturday. Senior guard
Joe Octave leads the team by averaging 14.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Junior forward
Caleb Kenney has posted 11.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game, while senior guard
Bo Montgomery has added 9.7 points, 4.1 boards and 2.8 assists per contest, and sophomore guard
Will Batchelder has put up 8.2 points and 1.5 assists per game.
Army enters the game with an overall mark of 9-17 and an 5-8 record in the Patriot League. The Black Knights have won three straight games, including a 65-60 victory over Boston University on Wednesday. Freshman forward Josh Scovens leads the team by averaging 12.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest. Freshman guard Ryan Curry has added 9.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, with junior guard T.J. Small chipping in 9.4 points and 3.0 boards per contest.
After the game with Army, Holy Cross will remain at home to face Bucknell on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.
