WORCESTER, Mass. — Freshman guard Max Green totaled 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists to lead the Holy Cross men's basketball team to an 82-46 victory over Regis at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex. The Crusaders improve to 8-5 on the year with the win, while the Pride falls to 5-4 overall.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Holy Cross made 49.2 percent of its field goal attempts, 44.0 percent of its three-pointers and 81.8 percent of its free throws on the day, while holding a 45-38 rebounding advantage.
• The Crusaders also held Regis to 26.9 percent shooting from the floor and 14.3 percent shooting from three-point range.
• Freshman forward Aidan Richard finished the game with 13 points, while sophomore forward Declan Ryan added 12 points and five rebounds.
• Sophomore guard Joe Nugent tallied 11 points and five boards, with senior forward Caleb Kenney posting 10 points and eight rebounds.
• Jamir Harvey led the Pride with 11 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Holy Cross opened the game by jumping out to an early 13-0 lead after the first 5:32 of action.
• The Crusaders would retain a double-digit lead for the remainder of the first half, eventually taking a 36-20 advantage into the locker room at halftime.
• The Hold Cross lead would stand at 17 (52-35) with 12:11 left to play, before an 11-1 spurt made it a 27-point game.
• The Crusaders then pulled away down the stretch to win by 26.
