A foul was called under the hoop and Eddy got five points in one trip down the court making it 15-13. Flanagan had kind roll on a mid-range jumper to level the score 15-15. Vermont closed the half on a 10-2 run for the lead at the break.
  • Flanagan tipped off the second half canning a triple from the top of the point making it a two-possession game, 25-20. Hanson's third three-ball of the contest opened up the first double-digit point lead for either team at 32-20. Vermont's margin expanded to 17, 47-30 through three quarters.
  • Holy Cross used a 7-1 burst early in the fourth to trim the deficit to 11, 48-37. An Olson hoop and harm rebuilt the lead to 15, 56-41. A pair of Foreman freebies cut the score to 11, 59-48 at the 3:51 mark.
