WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head men's basketball coach
Dave Paulsen has announced that
Aiden Disu (Buda, Texas) has signed with the Crusaders and will join the program in the fall of 2025.
"We are thrilled to welcome Aiden to our Holy Cross basketball family," said Paulsen. "Aiden is exactly the type of person and student we want representing our program. He will flourish in the classroom and become enmeshed in the fabric of the Holy Cross community. As a player, Aiden brings excellent size, versatility and skill to our program. He is a complete player able to play multiple positions on the floor. I can't wait to start working with Aiden after he completes another outstanding season with his high school team."
Disu is a 6-foot-7, 200-pound forward who currently plays for head coach Cooper Land at St. Michael's Catholic Preparatory School in Austin, Texas. Disu averaged 15.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game during his junior season, while earning first team 5A All-State honors from the Texas Association of Private & Parochial Schools. He was also named the District 3 Co-Most Valuable Player, while leading the Warriors to a 34-2 record, the Area and Regional championships, and a state semifinals appearance. In addition, Disu played for ASAK Elite in adidas 3-Stripes Select Basketball, where he earned third team honors at the 2024 Palmetto Road Championship.
Holy Cross is currently in its second season under Paulsen. The Crusaders play their next game on Friday, Nov. 15, when they face Sacred Heart at the College Hill Classic in Providence, R.I.
