LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team traveled to Bucknell for a Saturday afternoon matchup. A tough battle ended with the Bison taking the 1-0 win over the Crusaders.

IN GOAL:

• Holy Cross: Julia Walsh (L, 5-5-1), 6 saves
• Bucknell: Jess Benattar (W, 6-1-1), 3 saves

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Neither team scored in the first half.
• The Bison led the Crusader 10-5 in shots and 3-0 in corners through 45 minutes. Walsh made four saves to Benattar's two.
• In the second half, Bucknell scored at 66:57 with a goal by Sydney Hess. The Bison held onto the lead to pull out the 1-0 win over the Crusaders. 
• Bucknell led Holy Cross 16-10 in shots and corners 5-2 to finish the game.
