BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team traveled to Lehigh for a Saturday afternoon matchup. The Crusaders came up short 3-2 to the Mountain Hawks.

IN GOAL:

• Holy Cross: Julia Walsh (L, 5-6-1), 1 save
• Lehigh: Maggie Ousouljoglou (W, 2-7-4), 5 saves

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the first half, Lehigh scored at 28:29 off a corner headed in by Hope Flanegin.
• The Crusader led the Mountain Hawks 5-3 in shots and 3-2 in corners through 45 minutes.
• In the second half, Holy Cross tied the game with a goal by sophomore forward Caroline Marcus, her first of the season, at 52:08. The Mountain Hawks scored back-to-back goals within two minutes of one another for the 3-1 lead. The Crusaders netted a penalty kick goal at 78:48 scored by senior defender Alyssa Pettet by fell short at the end of 90, 3-2 in favor of the Mountain Hawks. 
• Both teams had 11 shots a piece while the Crusaders had the 7-2 advantage in corners to finish the game.
