ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team traveled to Navy for the final road game of the regular season. A late Midshipmen goal earned Navy the 1-0 win over the Crusaders.

IN GOAL:

• Holy Cross: Julia Walsh (L, 5-9-1), 4 saves
• Navy: Natasha Stramrood (W, 9-9-1), 2 saves

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Neither team scored in the first half.
• The Midshipmen led the Crusaders 5-4 in shots and while Holy Cross had the 6-1 advantage in corners through 45 minutes.
• In the second half, a late Navy goal scored by Marlee Heaven at 84:17 lifted the Midshipmen to the 1-0 win.
• Navy led Holy Cross 17-6 in shots while the Crusaders were ahead 7-1 in corners to conclude the competition.
