WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team hosted Colgate for the final game of the season on Wednesday night. The Crusaders pulled out a 1-1 tie with the Raiders.

IN GOAL:

• Holy Cross: Julia Walsh (T, 5-9-2), 2 saves | Olivia Dubin, 4 saves
• Colgate: Ella Poppinga (T, 1-4-2), 0 saves

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the first half, Colgate struck first with a goal at 11:18 scored by Ellie Stokes. Holy Cross responded with an Olivia Perez goal at 20:36 to tie the game 1-1. Senior forward Ashley Blaka assisted her.
• The Raiders led the Crusaders 7-3 in shots while Holy Cross had the 2-1 advantage in corners through 45 minutes.
• In the second half, neither team scored. A strong effort from Dubin and the back line helped to hold off the Raiders to the final whistle for the 1-1 tie.
• Colgate led Holy Cross 17-6 in shots while both teams had three corners a piece to conclude the game.
