The Holy Cross men's basketball team returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 6, when it travels to Army West Point for a 1 p.m. game. The contest between the Crusaders and the Black Knights will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

Holy Cross stands 3-11 on the year, including a 68-67 victory at Georgetown on Nov. 11. The Crusaders are coming off a 70-58 setback at Bucknell on Wednesday. Senior guard Joe Octave leads the team with averages of 15.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, while hitting 46.7 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior forward Caleb Kenney has posted 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game, with sophomore guard Will Batchelder putting up 7.8 points, and 1.7 assists per contest and freshman forward Joe Nugent adding 6.6 points and 5.1 boards per game.

Army enters the game with an overall mark of 4-10 and an 0-1 record in the Patriot League. The Black Knights were defeated by Lafayette 52-47 in their conference opener on Wednesday. Freshman forward Josh Scovens leads the team by averaging 13.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest, while hitting 44.1 percent of his field goals. Freshman guard Ryan Curry is also off to a solid start this year, with averages of 10.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

After the contest at Army, Holy Cross will return home to face Navy on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m.
