The Holy Cross men's basketball team travels to Washington, D.C., this week for a 7 p.m. game at American on Wednesday, Jan. 24. The contest between the Crusaders and the Eagles will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

Holy Cross stands 5-14 overall this year with a 2-4 mark in Patriot League play. The Crusaders have won two of their last three games, including an 86-78 victory over Loyola (Md.) on Saturday. Senior guard Joe Octave leads the team with averages of 14.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Junior forward Caleb Kenney has posted 10.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game, while senior guard Bo Montgomery has added 9.4 points, 3.9 boards and 3.0 assists per contest, and sophomore guard Will Batchelder has put up 9.4 points and 1.7 assists per game.

American has an overall mark of 10-9 on the season, including a 4-2 record in the Patriot League. In their last game, the Eagles fell to Lehigh 70-68 on Saturday. Senior forward Matt Rogers leads the team with averages of 14.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, while hitting 50.5 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior guard Elijah Stephens has averaged 12.4 points and 5.3 assists per contest, while senior guard Lorenzo Donadio has added 9.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

After the contest at American, Holy Cross will return home to face Lehigh on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 12 p.m.
