WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's soccer team was defeated by Bryant 4-0 at the Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium. The Crusaders fall to 1-2-1 overall, while the Bulldogs improve to 4-0-0 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Bryant opened the scoring in the 12th minute on a goal by Javier Soler Gandia.
• The Bulldogs increased their lead to 2-0 less than three minutes later when Vicente Valor Martinez found the net.
• Luis Fernando Paul added a goal in the 29th minute to put Bryant up 3-0 at halftime.
• Adrian Camacho concluded the scoring for the Bulldogs with a goal in the 76th minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Bryant finished the night with a 6-5 advantage in shots, while Holy Cross held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
• Junior goalkeeper
Josh Tubbs made two saves for the Crusaders.
NEXT UP:
• Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 9, when it travels to Dartmouth for a 7 p.m. game.
