EASTON, Pa. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team made their way to Easton, Pa. to face off with the Leopards on Saturday afternoon. After a scoreless first half, Lafayette scored on a header to take home a 1-0 win over the Crusaders.

In the first half, neither team managed to get on the board with both teams taking chances to get there.

In the second half, the Leopards converted on a corner which was headed in by Nadia Zaffanella to pull ahead 1-0 for the win.

Senior goalkeeper Mackenzie Wagner had multiple big saves in the competition only conceding a goal in the outing.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• In the first half, neither team scored with the Leopards leading the Crusaders 4-1 in corners

• In the second half, Lafayette scored at the 69:11 mark.

•  Holy Cross and the Leopards both had a total of 8 shots a piece

• Lafayette lead the Crusaders in corners 5-4
