Mackenzie Beyer added to softball coaching staff for upcoming season

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross softball head coach Kimberly Stiles has announced the hiring of Mackenzie Beyer as an assistant coach for the upcoming softball season.

This is the first collegiate coaching stop for Beyer who played three seasons of softball at Coastal Carolina from 2019-2021. Beyer appeared in 109 games for the Chanticleers earning starts in 105 games. Over her career she hit .289 with a .425 on-base percentage, .569 slugging percentage for a .994 OPS. Beyer totaled 20 home runs, 54 RBI, and 44 runs scored. During her junior campaign, she led the team and ranked second in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) in home runs (11). In the classroom, she was a SBC academic honors list honoree.

"I'm very excited to have Mackenzie join the staff," said Stiles. "Having just finished a great playing career, Mackenzie will bring amazing energy to the program."

Beyer has spent 2023 as the Fury Platinum New England 16U head coach and giving hitting and defense lessons at the HIT Center of Rhode Island. She has also volunteered at the La Salle Academy in Providence as a coach.

Beyer graduated from Coastal Carolina with a bachelor of science in public health in 2023.
