WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross forward Gerrale Gates has signed a contract with BBC Nyon of the Swiss Basketball League, the top-tier professional club basketball league in Switzerland.

During the 2022-2023 campaign, Gates earned All-Patriot League honors for the third straight season. He averaged 16.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocked shots per game, to rank first in the conference in rebounding, second in scoring, fourth in blocks, fifth in steals and ninth in assists. Gates led the team in scoring 14 times and in rebounding 22 times last season, while scoring in double-digits 30 times and posting 13 double-doubles. 

Over the course of his career with the Crusaders, Gates totaled 1,184 points, 619 rebounds, 172 assists, 86 steals and 60 blocks.
