Long snapper Adam Guillemette of the Holy Cross football team was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the third round of the 2023 Canadian Football League Draft. 

Guillemette, a Cambridge, Ontario native, was selected with the 27th overall pick. 

"Growing up in Canada, playing in the CFL was always a dream of mine — especially playing for the Toronto Argonauts, which was the first pro football game I ever attended," Guillemette said. "Getting to go back home to play for Toronto is a true full-circle moment for me, and I couldn't be more grateful. It's been a long journey for me—I've dedicated years trying to be great at what I do, but I genuinely couldn't have accomplished anything without the people around me. My family, friends, teammates and coaching staff at every level have supported my dream without question, and I can't thank them enough for that. At Holy Cross, I learnt what it takes to be the person and player that I want to be, and I couldn't be more thankful for the time I spent on The Hill."

As a senior, Guilemette handled long snapping duties in 12 contests with the Crusaders. Guilemette helped guide Holy Cross to a historic 2022 season, in which the Crusaders secured their fourth consecutive Patriot League championship. Holy Cross won a program-record 12 games and finished with a 12-1 record, falling in the NCAA FCS quarterfinals to eventual national champion South Dakota State. After posting their first 11-0 regular season since 1991, Holy Cross earned a No. 6 postseason national ranking.
