The Holy Cross women's ice hockey head coach
Katie Lachapelle announced the team captains for the 2023-24 season on Thursday.
Rising senior forward
Lilly Feeney will serve as a captain for the second straight year, while rising senior forward
Bryn Saarela will sport the "C" for the first time.
"We are extremely excited to have Lilly and Bryn lead our team," Lachapelle said. "They are leaders on the ice, in the locker room and in the Holy Cross community. We can't wait to watch them propel our group forward."
Feeney, now a two-time captain, has appeared in every contest since stepping on the Hill, totaling 87 career games. She has recorded 24 points (five goals, 19 assists) in that span.
Saarela has appeared in 87 games during her Holy Cross career, tallying 38 points (18 goals, 20 assists). She is tied for the most points of any Crusader in the Hockey East era.
