Holy Cross announces 2023 football schedule, season ticket renewals open NOW!

The four-time defending Patriot League champion Holy Cross football team has announced its 11-game schedule for the 2023 season. The slate is set to get underway on Sept. 2, and features five home games and six road games.

The Crusaders open at home with a non-conference contest on Sept. 2 against Merrimack at Fitton Field. Holy Cross then heads down the Massachusetts Turnpike for an FBS matchup at Boston College on Sept. 9.

On Sept. 16, the Crusaders head to New Haven, Conn., for a game against Yale. Holy Cross then returns home on Sept. 23 to open its Patriot League slate against Colgate.

The Crusaders will return to Polar Park for the third annual EBW Classic on Sept. 30, playing host to in-state rival Harvard.

Holy Cross resumes conference play with a trip to Lewisburg, Pa., for an Oct. 7 game at Bucknell. After a bye week, the Crusaders return home for a league matchup against Lafayette on Oct. 21 and then hit the road for Patriot League games against Fordham (Oct. 28) and Lehigh (Nov. 4).

The Crusaders will face one additional FBS foe on Nov. 11, with a Veteran's Day contest at Army West Point.

Holy Cross rounds out its regular-season slate with a Patriot League home game against Georgetown on Nov. 18.

The Crusaders return to the gridiron this fall after a historic 2022 season, in which Holy Cross won a program-record 12 games and finished with a 12-1 record, falling in the NCAA FCS quarterfinals to eventual national champion South Dakota State. Holy Cross earned a No. 6 postseason national ranking, and enters 2023 in hopes of earning a fifth consecutive berth in the FCS playoffs.
