The Holy Cross men's basketball team will play its final regular season game of the year when it faces Army West Point at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25. Prior to tip-off, members of the Crusaders' senior class will be honored in a special pregame ceremony. The contest between Holy Cross and Army will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

The Crusaders stand 10-20 overall this year with a 7-10 mark in the Patriot League. Holy Cross is currently tied for fifth place in the conference and can be seeded anywhere from fifth through ninth in the Patriot League Tournament. With a win over Army, the Crusaders would earn the No. 5, No. 6 or No. 7 seed. With a loss against the Black Knights, Holy Cross could finish anywhere from the No. 6 to the No. 9 seed. The Crusaders would earn a bye into the quarterfinals if they are seeded fifth or sixth, and would have a home game in the first round if they are seventh or eighth.

Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 15.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocked shots per game, in addition to hitting 47.3 percent of his field goal attempts. Freshman guard Will Batchelder has added 12.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest, while junior guard Joe Octave is putting up 12.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

Army currently stands 15-15 overall and 9-8 in the Patriot League. The Black Knights have already locked up the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament and a home game in the quarterfinals. Junior guard Jalen Rucker has led the team by averaging 15.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Freshman forward Ethan Roberts has put up 12.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest, with freshman guard Coleton Benson chipping in 11.1 points and 2.3 boards per game.

After the contest with Army, Holy Cross will open play in the Patriot League Tournament on either February 28 or March 2.
