The Holy Cross men's basketball team will travel to old rival Boston College for a 7 p.m. game on Friday, Dec. 8. The contest between the Crusaders and the Eagles will be shown live by ACC Network Extra and ESPN Plus.

Holy Cross stands 2-7 so far this year, including a 68-67 victory at Georgetown on Nov. 11 and a 74-61 win over IUPUI on Nov. 19. Senior guard Joe Octave leads the team with averages of 15.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, while hitting 50.5 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior forward Caleb Kenney has added 9.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per contest, while senior guard Bo Montgomery is chipping in with 9.1 points, 4.7 boards and 3.4 assists per game. Sophomore guard Will Batchelder (7.7 points, 1.6 assists) and freshman forward Joe Nugent (7.1 points, 4.9 rebounds) round out the Holy Cross starting lineup.

Boston College has an overall record of 6-3 this season, with an 0-1 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Eagles are coming off an 82-68 victory over Central Connecticut on Tuesday night. Senior center Quinten Post has led the team by averaging 20.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest, while hitting 53.1 percent of his shots from the floor. Junior guard Claudell Harris (13.5 points per game) and junior guard Jaeden Zackery (12.3 points per game) are also scoring in double figures.

After the game with Boston College, Holy Cross will take a week off for finals before returning to action against Quinnipiac on Monday, Dec. 18.
