The Holy Cross men's basketball team hits the road this weekend for a 1 p.m. game at Central Connecticut on Saturday, Dec. 2. The contest between the Crusaders and the Blue Devils will be shown live by NEC Front Row.
Holy Cross stands 2-6 so far this year, including a 68-67 victory at Georgetown on Nov. 11 and a 74-61 win over IUPUI on Nov. 19. Senior guard
Joe Octave leads the team with averages of 14.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, while hitting 52.3 percent of his field goal attempts. Senior guard
Bo Montgomery has added 9.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest, while junior forward
Caleb Kenney is chipping in with 9.4 points, 3.6 boards and 1.0 blocks per game. Sophomore guard
Will Batchelder (7.5 points, 1.6 assists) and freshman forward
Joe Nugent (7.3 points, 5.0 rebounds) round out the Holy Cross starting lineup.
Central Connecticut stands 2-4 so far this season, and is coming off a 79-51 victory at Army on Wednesday night. Senior forward Allan Jeanne-Rose has led the team by averaging 14.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest, while hitting 65.5 percent of his shots from the floor. Senior guard Kellen Amos has put up 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, while junior forward Jayden Brown has added 9.5 points per contest.
After the game with Central Connecticut, Holy Cross will travel to Boston College for a 7 p.m. contest on Friday, Dec. 8.
