The Holy Cross men's basketball team hits the road this weekend for a game at Army West Point on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 1:00 p.m. The contest between the Crusaders and the Black Knights will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

Holy Cross currently has a mark of 4-5 in the Patriot League and an overall record of 7-15. In conference action, the Crusaders have defeated Bucknell (twice), Navy and Loyola (Md.), while falling to Lehigh (twice), American, Lafayette and Colgate. Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League in three-point field goal percentage defense (32.6 percent), while standing fourth in blocked shots (2.9 blocks per game) and steals (6.9 steals per game).

Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 17.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocked shots per game, in addition to connecting on 50.5 percent of his field goal attempts. Freshman guard Will Batchelder has added 11.6 points and 2.0 assists per contest, while junior guard Bo Montgomery is putting up 11.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

Army currently stands 11-11 overall and 5-4 in the Patriot League. The Black Knights are currently on a three-game losing streak, during which they have fallen to Bucknell (68-66), Navy (77-71) and American (63-61). Junior guard Jalen Rucker has led the team by averaging 16.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Freshman forward Ethan Roberts (12.0 points per game), freshman guard Coleton Benson (11.2 points per game) and senior forward Chris Mann (10.9 points per game) are also scoring in double figures.

Following the contest with Army, Holy Cross will travel to Boston University for a 7:00 p.m. game on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
