The Holy Cross men's basketball team will be back on the road this weekend, heading to Bucknell for a 2:00 p.m. game on Saturday, Jan. 21. The contest between the Crusaders and the Bison will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.

Holy Cross enters the game with a mark of 3-4 in the Patriot League and an overall record of 6-14. In conference action, the Crusaders have defeated Bucknell (60-58), Navy (74-63) and Loyola (63-55), while falling to American (73-68 in overtime), Lehigh (76-58), Lafayette (62-48) and Colgate (77-71). Holy Cross currently leads the Patriot League in three-point field goal percentage defense (33.0 percent), while standing third in blocked shots (3.0 blocks per game).

Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 17.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocked shots per game, in addition to connecting on 50.4 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior guard Bo Montgomery has added 11.3 points, 3.7 boards and 2.5 assists per contest, while freshman guard Will Batchelder is putting up 10.8 points and 2.0 assists per game.

Bucknell currently has an overall record of 8-12 with a 1-6 mark in the Patriot League. The Bison are coming off a 68-66 win at Army on Wednesday, which snapped an eight-game losing streak. Senior guard Xander Rice has led the team by averaging 15.1 points, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game, while making 84.7 percent of his foul shots. Senior forward Alex Timmerman has put up 12.0 points and 6.9 rebounds per contest, with junior center Andre Screen adding 11.1 points, 5.9 boards and 1.1 blocked shots per game.

Following the contest with the Bison, Holy Cross will return home to face Lehigh on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 7:00 p.m.
