WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior
Jolie Creo totaled five goals and two assists to lead the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team to a 19-9 victory over Bucknell at Kuzniewski Field. The Crusaders improve to 6-10 overall and 3-6 in the Patriot League, while the Bison fall to 6-10 on the year and 3-6 in the conference.
Bucknell held a 5-3 edge heading into the second quarter, before Holy Cross ran off seven straight goals to take a 10-5 halftime lead. Creo and sophomore
Lauren Drillock both scored two goals during that spurt. The Crusaders went on to lead 15-8 after the third quarter, before pulling away in the fourth quarter to win by 10.
Both Drillock and junior
Charlotte Wittstock scored three goals on the day, while senior
Jordyn Arakelian added a career-best four assists. Senior
Grace Flink made eight saves on the day while allowing just nine goals.
The 2022 season is now complete for the Crusaders.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
• Holy Cross has now won its last three games against Bucknell.
• With her seven points on the day, Creo finished the year with a school single-season record 82 points on 56 goals and 26 assists.
• Creo concluded her four-year career with 137 goals and 52 assists for 189 points. She ranks fourth all-time at Holy Cross in both goals and points, and fifth in assists.
SENIOR DAY:
• Prior to the contest, eight senior members of the Holy Cross women's lacrosse program who will be graduating next month were honored in a pregame ceremony.

Margaret Mitchell and
Haley Tietjen were all recognized.
